From Japan, With Love

One of my most precious friends, Katarina, just got back from Japan (she was only gone for two weeks but I swear it felt like ten…) and what better way to celebrate her return then to go and dine at one of the newest and most sought-after cafes in Melbourne… The Kettle Black in South Melbourne. The food wasn’t really for us, but the interior, atmosphere and overall décor definitely was (and not to mention her company is always perfect), but well, they can’t all get it right can they?

Below you will find some pretty-foody-photos and a lot of latte art (because a latte isn’t a latte without the art, am i right?) as well as some photos I have taken of the beautiful gifts Katarina brought me back from Japan, with love… think crystal head baby skull vodka, harajuku inspired socks, Fortnum & Mason tea necessities and a collection of yummy Asian goodies… Yep, she really is the best.

Hope everyone is having a splendid Thursday,

Much love … ciao x

  1. Those are very cute little trinkets – Milky was a staple of my childhood. But more importantly, the sight of bread and polenta make me sad that I started my ketogenic diet today 🙁

      • Basically, if the nutrition label has anything with carbohydrates in it, I can’t eat it 🙁 Anything processed is definitely out of the question (bread, pasta, grains). The things I do to myself! On the upside, I’m allowed to eat bacon…
