A few nights ago I was lucky enough to be invited to the Westfield Doncaster AW ’15 preview – one of my first ever fashion events as a Melbourne blogger. Between the delicious bite-sized canapés, bubbles and fresh looks for the autumn months, it was safe to say I was, well, totally and utterly in my element. The runway show featured some really interesting all leather-looks as well as a lot of warm, bright colours, but it was the flawless leather handbags & shoes (pictured below) which got me thinking I should probably stop eating out so much and start saving to own one (…but preferably all) these stunning pieces…
Here is somewhat of a delayed photo-guide of Noosa-life… I was supposed to post this a couple of days ago but since being back in the real world I’ve been bombarded with nothing but work commitments, compulsory shopping excursions & fashion events (… or really just event… watch this space…). And so a few days late, but none-the-less entertaining, here is a little run down of what you should do, eat, ride (yes ride…) and look at whilst visiting Noosa (…quite possibly the best holiday destination in Australia… just saying).
Inspired by this [totally postcard-worthy] beach sunset/baby-pink-sky situation, I set out to capture some photographs featuring my newest monochromatic handmade dress by Zoe Elizabeth Designs. Made from beautifully soft fabric in a fit that is perfect for balmy beach days, followed by humid long summer nights, this was one of the first pieces I put in my suitcase when packing (…everything, including the kitchen sink…). I found some frangipani flowers just chilling by the pool patiently waiting to be picked by yours truly, so included these in the photographs too (because, nature).
GOOD AFTERNOON everyone! The sun is shining bright in Melbourne this afternoon, and I’ve been awfully busy relaxing on my balcony enjoying an incredibly photogenic [but unfortunately non-alcoholic] cold beverage, pretending my location is slightly more exotic than Melbourne (LOOK HERE to see!!).
In true Jessica & Love fashion, when my parents told me we were throwing a mini dinner party on New Years Day, I practically jumped out of my Converse Sneakers I was so excited (hangover and all…). Any excuse to decorate/style/create-an-incredibly-photogenic-situation is kind of what I live for… Although yet to master the art of actually cooking, preparing for a dinner party? Family – please, look no further.

Over the weekend I attended a furniture and interior design expo at ‘The Kitchen’ in Richmond, Melbourne. Being a passionate pillow purchaser (yes that is a thing) I have always had a rather bizarre infatuation with all things home/décor/interior-inspired.
