Having only recently properly acquainted myself with the Melbourne based label ELKA COLLECTIVE, I’ve been really getting right around their AW17 collection this season. With a super relaxed, somewhat feminine and ridiculously wearable aesthetic to all their items, their collection has managed to form quite a base for my Autumn wardrobe. I have found their clothes to be super transeasonal-friendly, with items that can easily be worn on hotter or cooler days, depending how you choose to style them.
Having very recently completed my double degree in Commerce and Law, I am in a bit of a ‘treat yo self’ mood, so I purchased this GUCCI wallet yesterday and am already so in love. Apart from quite possibly being the coolest shade of red ever, it is super practical and fits all my [totally unnecessary] bits and pieces usually found stuffed at the bottom of my bag (aka 7 expired public transport cards, a few gift cards with $1 left on them and baby photos that are probably better suited to a photo album rather than my handbag… told you, unnecessary). But ANYWHO, do you love? Let me know below what you think!
So this post was definitely meant to go live 3 weeks ago, but with the craziness that was VAMFF, an annoyingly persistent tummy parasite and a variety of campaigns I have been working on since my return (more on this soon), it just didn’t happen. And well, I think I am going to blame life too. You know, all the silly little errands that come up which must be done, like, right now – plus a few totally necessary fun things in between, like coffee dates, vino filled nights and long morning walks. But alas, here we go –
With Christmas right around the corner, getting all my Christmas presents sorted for my closest friends and family is my number one priority. For all the lovely ladies in my life, who are far too fabulous to receive anything but an absolutely amazing gift, I always opt to give them a beautiful bunch of fresh flowers. Having always loved fresh flowers for as long as I can remember, I truly believe there is nothing more special and personalised than receiving a beautiful bouquet of florals. Aside from brightening up your day, they add a certain warmth and air of happiness to any room. This year I will be purchasing said flowers from the beautiful team at Interflora Australia. Apart from offering a wide range of stunning Christmas-inspired collections, their quality, same-day delivery and customer service is like no other.
Having made it no secret that my weakness lies in shoes… or more specifically sneakers – GROUNDED FOOTWEAR may just be my new favourite store. Located in the newly refurbished Chadstone Shopping Centre, the new store is fitted with chic emerald sofas, perfect #shoe-fie lighting and a bunch of my absolute favourite brands. With brands such as SENSO, BIRKENSTOCK, LACOSTE and DOC MARTINS… just to name a few, they really do have something for everyone, and well, it was safe to say that I may just have ‘died and gone to shoe heaven’.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! I’ve been so excited to share with you my take on AMBRA’S amazing premium activewear range AMBRA ACTIVE! Apart from being totally seamless and thus super stretchy, comfortable and ideal for exercise, the range is crazy fashionable and can literally be worn from yoga to a café. Just swap your favourite AMBRA ACTIVE seamless leggings for some denim and/or a bomber jacket to create a super chic, easy café ready look straight after exercising. My favourite piece from their new premium activewear collection is definitely the Sport Luxe 2.0 Zip Jacket in black. It is super stretchy, lightweight and ideal for exercise but doubles as a totally fashionable throw-over when not working out. I also really love the thumbhole detail, which adds a bit of extra warmth on colder mornings before your body has warmed up! I also couldn’t go past the Sport Luxe 2.0 Crop and Active Rib Tank given the slimming fit and wearability of both pieces!
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! Today I wanted to share with you a couple of my favourite looks from the new ARMANI EXCHANGE collection. With fire hydrant red popping up all over the place recently, I was looking forward to playing around with this colour in puffer-jacket form. Opting to pair it back with an A|X scrunched up tee and charcoal skinny denim jeans; I wanted the colour to pop and be the main feature of the look. I added a strappy black heel to dress up the look, but would love to play around with wearing this jacket in a more casual setting too. Pairing it back with sneakers, oversized denim and a white tee.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! Just swinging by this evening to share with you my new favourite timepiece from one of my all-time (#puns), favourite watch brands, Daniel Wellington. With the launch of their latest timepieces, I really do feel this all-black-with-gold-detailing-watch was the final item missing from my little collection. Apart from being an incredibly chic, timeless (#SoManyPuns) piece, the luxe detail and finish makes it perfect to pair back with slightly more dressier looks, like this V-neck black silk top from Style Addict, oversized mum jeans from Assembly the Label and slip on loafers.
AMBRA products are available from David Jones, Myer, independent boutiques & fashion retail stores nationally.
As I am sure you all know by now, I have been a huge fan of anything AMBRA for quite some time. From their amazing hosiery selection, which forever feeds my ongoing obsession with all things fishnet, lacy and pattered, to their high-quality, fashion-forward lingerie items – that totally bring a whole new meaning to ‘underwear’.
In collaboration with TheRaces.com.au – the hottest new fashion and lifestyle destination for all things RACES, I wanted to share with you the beauty essentials that I pack inside my bag for the day.
First things first, you need a bag. Not just any bag. The bag has to match your outfit, compliment your shoes, and be big enough to fit a bunch of stuff but small enough that it does not inconvenience your race-day-existence. Tricky I know. For this crazy bag contradiction, I recommend a slightly oversized clutch (brownie points if it comes with a cross-body chain strap) in the designer variety. I’ve picked the Givenchy Antigona Envelope Leather Clutch by Cosette.com.au.
