Having quite literally disappeared from the world that is the blogosphere as of late – I’m pretty happy to be back at it with a favourite shirt brand of mine – The Fable Archive. As a self-confessed slightly-oversized-just-a-bit-slouchy-preferably-in-a-pastel-tone shirt addict The Fable Archive is my kind of brand.
Having never really kept my love of double-denim a secret, I couldn’t help but spend my last uni-free weekend in my favourite 90s combo. This weekend I opted for an oversized denim shirt and a straight leg ripped pair of jeans, courtesy of DRICOPER DENIM. I added a fedora and Raybans to complete the look and a pair of old school (read: I bought these shoes in 2004 – yes, I still wear them frequently) Chuck Taylors for comfort.
Having recently been given the opportunity to collaborate with the luxurious OROGOLD COSMETICS, I could barely contain my excitement to try out my newest luxe products. With an amazing selections of cosmetics laced with 24K pure gold, all intended to pamper, nourish and nurture your skin, it was no surprise I fell head over heels for their cosmetic range within seconds of application. From the super chic gold packaging right through to how the product glides onto your skin, adding instant moisture and rejuvenation, I was so impressed by the quality and standard of the OROGOLD products, I couldn’t fault their collection if I tried! As a self-proclaimed lover-of-all-things-GOLD, I’m forever looking for new, timeless gold investment pieces to add to my collection, and well – I never guessed that one of the pieces I added would be in the form of cosmetics!
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! With my birthday celebrations well under way late last week I was looking for the perfect slip dress to slip-into (#puns) during the cold weather. I just so happened to find two – cue the amazing Fame & Partners. As somewhat of an online shopping haven for all things silky, slippy and sexy, these luxe pieces really are perfect for every occasion. I dressed my blush silk slip down with an oversized printed tee, woolly cardigan, fishnet stockings (for a bit of a 90s throw-back/why-not-fashion-situation) and Nike sneakers. I styled my slightly dressier black slip dress with gold accents, allowing the detailed black lace to make a statement.
I’ve had all sorts of fun styling these two little wardrobe essentials for winter with OTK boots, Chuck Taylors, turtleneck jumpers and big winter coats. And although typically a dressier look, I’ve been wearing these slips with almost everything!
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON SLIP DRESSES? AND WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVOURITE? LET ME KNOW BELOW!
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! For today’s media launch, flower pick-up & acai bowl situation (courtesy of Green Cup), I was unintentionally channelling all sorts of ‘Greece-lightening’-vibes, with this off the shoulder Pasduchas blush top and high waisted black skinny jeans. I went with a minty green Reebok sneaker from Glue Store to add a point of difference and my personalised black bucket bag from The Daily Edited to bring the look together… that and well, I carry everything (…yes, including the kitchen sink) in my bag, so the oversized bucket aspect is all kinds of necessary.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! So before I totally bid fair well to the summer that was, I wanted to share with you a few sneaky summer snaps featuring a recent fave, Peony Swimwear. Although having only somewhat recently acquainted myself with the boutique Australian swimwear label, I kind of can’t get enough of it, like for real though. From their pastel shades and dreamy patterns to the high quality fabric and flawless fit, this brand is literally all I have ever wanted in swimwear and some. Plus, I’m not even going to re-mention the name, I mean, Peony? Please, only like my favourite flower second to roses (just FYI…). But anyways, you totally get it – this brand is everything.
There isn’t a lot I like about winter. Sure the occasional hot cocoa and movie in bed thing isn’t all bad, but when it comes to living life to its absolute fullest, I am a summer kind-of-gal. All that frolicking in summertime sunshine, beach days, long warm nights, balcony hangs and sangria moments are literally what I live for. For realz. HOWEVER the one redeeming factor that makes me ever so slightly (…and I mean slightly…) excited for the temperature to drop is the winter-FASHUN. #AmIRightLadies?! I mean the whole over-the-knee boot, oversized wooly knit thing and rotating trench coat situation is what FASHUN dreams are made of.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! Just swinging by to share with you my little look of the day. With Melbourne’s warm weather coming to a halt, I figured it was time to rip out (#PUNS) the ripped jeans, chuck on a tee, funky boots & an oversized navy blazer and call it a day… or something like that. Either way, when offered to collaborate with Target Australia again this month, I couldn’t go past this oversized-mum-jean-inspired situation. In fact, I love my newest trendy threads so much, I’m tempted to go back and grab a second pair, especially given the ridiculously reasonable PRICE (less than $50 AUD… I repeat, LESS THAN $50 AUD… Run, don’t walk).
ANYWAYS… VAMFF is done & dusted; it’s time to metaphorically jump back into university life. Sigh. Back to [law-life] reality, but until then – stay tuned for a big VAMFF outfit/runway wrap up… You’ve been warned.
GOOD EVENING EVERYONE! Although recently somewhat partial to a ‘cropped denim short’, Melbourne’s summer weather [or lack there of…] has caused me to return to my denim roots, and by roots I mean my beloved Mom-jeans. Having sported this denim style for quite some time, I’ve usually always opted for stealing my actual Mum’s jeans to create the desired effect, however with TopShop Au launching such a diverse collection of denim, my mum’s oversized Levis’ may no longer be required*. I paired my latest pair (#Hehe) with a bank-robber** inspired top, a Status Anxiety black leather wallet and high-top cons for a basic monochrome look.
